HOW DOES TORIVALE.COM WORK?
torivale.com isn’t designed to be a typical blog. Where most blogs routinely provide brand new posts every few days, my focus is on providing fewer, more in-depth posts which are updated regularly. No pressure, no overwhelming amount of articles – just high quality content.
As a full-time worker, I couldn’t keep up with the demands created by the blogging world. The idea of posting a fresh article every couple of days wasn’t viable. Hopefully, with my aforementioned idea, I can provide useful and detailed information to help you on your beauty buying journey.
CAMERA & EDITING
WHAT CAMERA DO YOU USE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY?
I use a Panasonic G80 with its standard lens.
HOW DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS?
Currently, for photography, I find a blend of Apple Photos’ simple editor and the free version of Photoscape X to be effective and efficient.
When I occasionally tap into film editing, my editor of choice is Final Cut Pro X. Last time I looked, you can get a free trail for 90 days.
YOU NEVER TALK ABOUT HAIR. WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
While my hair is curly in places, it’s natural texture is generally Type 2C, but, as many people with curly/wavy hair know, it can be fairly unruly!
Because of this, I tend to use a small amount of heat to style my hair most times I wash it via my GHD curling wand. Regardless of whether I’m using heat that day or not, I always use a leave-in conditioner that is designed for curly hair. This really helps to maintain curls even when heat is used via a curling wand. I’ve used the Aveda Be Curly Curl Enhancer for years.
On top of this, I always use the OLAPLEX No. 7 Bonding Oil, which has significantly improved the look and feel of my hair as it largely prevents its unruliness while not removing the natural texture wavy/curly hair has.
